Daily Trip Plan

Day 1:

One of the oldest cities in the world.

Arrival and Transfer to Hotel in Yerevan

During Yerevan city tour you will see all the major sights of the capital, including the Republic Square, the Opera house, the Cascade where you will see the statue of the world-famous sculptor Fernando Botero “The Black Cat”. We will also drive via Baghramyan Avenue, where you will see the Parliament, the Palace of President, and the National Academy of Sciences.Visit ,Tsitsernakaberd – Genocide memorial for the victims 1915 Genocide of Armenians. The excursion also includes a stop in the Victory Park, at Mother Armenia monument, from where you will behold a panoramic view of the city and Visit the History Museum of Armenia. The final stop will be at the Food Market with its variety of fresh and dried fruits

Overnight in Yerevan

Day 2:


Today we will visit one of the main sights of pilgrimage in Armenia – the rock-hewn monastery of Geghard – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is believed to be the place where the Holy Lance was kept in the middle ages. The Holy Lance was brought to Armenia by apostle St. Thaddeus in the 1st century. Today hundreds of people visit this place and drink the crystal clear miraculous water coming from the spring inside one of the churches of the complex.

Here in the cave enclosures of Geghard monastery with wonderful acoustic we will enjoy a half-an-hour concert of Armenian Church music, performed by professional choir. This will be one of the highlights of our trip!!!

We will then drive to Garni village. Here we will visit the only surviving pagan temple at Garni, dating from the first century AD, is a splendid example of ancient architecture of Hellenistic period. At one time a great complex of palaces and temples, serving as a summer residence for the Armenian Kings, stood here. Overnight in Yerevan.

*There are often weddings and baptisms happening in Geghard, so inquiring beforehand it would be possible to arrange the visit to this place on the certain time to watch the ceremony.

Day 3 :


Driving by the road framed by Lesser Caucasus Mountains we reach the resort town of Dilijan and visit a museum-street of the town of Dilijan, which still preserves 19-century houses. We will visit the Haghartsin Monastery. It was built between the 10th and 14th centuries. The church is hugely influential in Armenia and two monasteries and its main cathedral are already listed on Unesco’s list of world heritage sites. In 2005 His Royal Highness Sheikh Muhammad al Qasimi visited Armenia and generously offered to renovate the complex during a tour of various Armenian regions.

Our next destination today is Lake Sevan – “the pearl of Armenia”. This fresh-water lake of volcanic origin is situated at an altitude of about 6,500 ft and is one of the biggest high altitude lakes in the world. Here we will visit Sevan Monastery overlooking the lake and at the same time observe the water change its colors surrounded with snow-capped mountains. And will continue to Tsaghkadzor – is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province. We will also visit The Ropeway of Tsaghkadzor wich is situated on the top of Mount Teghenis .

Day 4 :


Today We will have a visit to Ejmiatsin. This excursion takes us to one of the oldest towns of Armenia – Echmiadzin, which is the religious center of all Armenians. The area of Echmiadzin is a UNESCO site. En route we will visit the archeological site of Zvartnots Cathedral, which is a masterpiece of Armenian architecture and an important symbol of Christianity in Armenia!

After returning we will have a free time for leisure
