YEREVAN -SEVAN DILIJAN -CAXKAZDOR-YEREVAN
Driving by the road framed by Lesser Caucasus Mountains we reach the resort town of Dilijan and visit a museum-street of the town of Dilijan, which still preserves 19-century houses. We will visit the Haghartsin Monastery. It was built between the 10th and 14th centuries. The church is hugely influential in Armenia and two monasteries and its main cathedral are already listed on Unesco’s list of world heritage sites. In 2005 His Royal Highness Sheikh Muhammad al Qasimi visited Armenia and generously offered to renovate the complex during a tour of various Armenian regions.
Our next destination today is Lake Sevan – "the pearl of Armenia". This fresh-water lake of volcanic origin is situated at an altitude of about 6,500 ft and is one of the biggest high altitude lakes in the world. Here we will visit Sevan Monastery overlooking the lake and at the same time observe the water change its colors surrounded with snow-capped mountains. And will continue to Tsaghkadzor – is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province. We will also visit The Ropeway of Tsaghkadzor wich is situated on the top of Mount Teghenis

Day 3 :
Today we will visit one of the main sights of pilgrimage in Armenia – the rock-hewn monastery of Geghard – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is believed to be the place where the Holy Lance was kept in the middle ages. The Holy Lance was brought to Armenia by apostle St. Thaddeus in the 1st century. Today hundreds of people visit this place and drink the crystal clear miraculous water coming from the spring inside one of the churches of the complex.
Here in the cave enclosures of Geghard monastery with wonderful acoustic we will enjoy a half-an-hour concert of Armenian Church music, performed by professional choir. This will be one of the highlights of our trip!!!
After returning to Yerevan we will have a free time for shopping
