Daily Trip Plan

Day 1: Arrive Istanbul

Welcome to Turkey – a mesmerizing land of Romans and Ottomans! On arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed by your representative and transferred by a private chauffeur driven car to your hotel.

With an over-abundance of important historic buildings and exciting new art galleries and museums, visitors have more than enough to see during the day, but it’s at night that the place swings into high-velocity, mega-stylish action.

Istanbul is the capital for art and culture with a rich tradition in opera and ballet, theatres, concerts, art exhibitions, festivals, auctions, conferences and of course unique museums. Being an imperial capital for 1500 years, Istanbul has acquired a highly original personality. At every turn in the city, you are faced with Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman palaces, mosques, churches, monasteries, monuments, walls and ruins. Yet Istanbul is not a city living only on its past. It is a vibrant, modern and future-oriented metropolis.

Day 2: Istanbul

At leisure to discover this breathtaking city on your own.

Day 3: Istanbul – Kayseri – Cappadocia

This morning, you will be transferred to Istanbul airport for an early morning flight to Kayseri (Flight cost not included).

Day 4: Cappadocia

Enjoy city sights of Cappadocia (Seat in Coach).

Today in the morning, visit to Dervent Valley which has various types of fairy chimneys. Pasabaglari (Monk’s Valley) with some other types of fairy chimneys. Avanos Region, known for its pottery, a craft dating back to Hittite period. After lunch at local restaurant visits to Goreme Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. These tall, free-standing cones of stone, curve and twist as if pulled from earth like taffy. The caves were settled in the 4th Century as monasteries. Visit some caves on the cliffs to see Byzantine frescoes decorating early Christian churches. Stop at Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe for a beautiful view of Cappadocia.

Day 5: Cappadocia – Kayseri – Izmir – Kusadasi

This morning, transfer from your hotel to Kayseri airport for your flight to Izmir.On arrival in Izmir, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Izmir is a very modern looking Turkish city with wide roads and modern buildings. The city has a lovely waterfront promenade that makes for pleasant walks and has many café’s where you can take a break.

The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city of Izmir or Kusadasi on your own.

Day 6: Kusadasi – Ephesus – Kusadasi

Full-day tour to Ephesus (Seat in Coach). This morning you will travel from Kusadasi to Ephesus. Visit the House of Virgin Mary where she spent the last days of her life. Continue to Ephesus, Roman capital of Asia Minor. The ancient city of Ephesus was an important centre for early Christianity. In the Book of Revelation, Ephesus was one of the seven churches addressed by Christ in a vision. It is here that you will find the Temple of Artemis, considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. After lunch at a local restaurant take a fashion show in a leather shop. Then, continue to Temple of Artemis before the Turkish Carpet demonstration.

Day 7: Kusadasi – Pamukkale – Kusadasi

City tour of Pamukkale (Seat in Coach). Today morning drive to Pamukkale for full-day tour. On arrival, visit to Pamukkale Cotton Fortress with its travertine and ancient City of Hierapolis which has the biggest Nekropol in Anatolia with 1200 gravestones. Lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. After the tour transfer back to hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 8: Kusadasi – Izmir – Istanbul Depart

Today you will be transferred to Izmir airport for your flight back home.
